Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Animated Show Details
It was reported that the new Ubisoft project described Laserhawk as a “young-adult series” and also confirms it will be based on the game Far Cry 3 expansion. This is the first time we have heard about this because there were other works like this example, Watch Dogs games being adapted into their own shows. But Watch Dogs was for a younger audience and on the other hand, Blood Dragon will be for a more mature audience.
This means that it will be as wild as the expansion and concept are for the also revealed which looks similar to the Blood Dragon. Helene Juguet, Ubisoft Film & Television managing director spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about its work with Shankar. “Adi is such a great fan of video games, We share the same culture and references. It’s been great to give him the freedom to do something very fresh and bold with our characters.”
Juguet further said “One of the incubator’s key projects is to translate the essence of video games,” Juguet said. “Our goal is to translate that into an innovative visual and engaging storytelling in animation.” Right now it is unclear when the show will be released, who will star in it, or where it’ll be watchable. But we might be getting some info on it very soon.
