Gotham is coming back for the fifth and the final season, as confirmed by Fox last year. The series has been a fun ride so far. We actually got to see a show about Gotham without Batman in it, yet still being successful. That says a lot about this series in my opinion.
Back when Season 4 aired, we got a lot of information on what is next from here onwards, and most importantly we were told by the creators that they would “wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes.”
So I think it is time for us to talk about Gotham Season 5. Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post contains spoilers from the series. If you’re someone who doesn’t like spoilers, I suggest that you stop the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
Right now, Gotham is already airing in the US. However, those in the UK will have to wait longer for the show to begin airing. From what we were told, Gotham Season 5 will air in April 2019 in the UK.
The show will also likely make a broadcast change. As you may know, the first two seasons of Gotham aired on Channel 5 in the UK. Changes were made during Season 3’s premiere, and it was moved to Netflix. The next season aired on E4, and because of that, fans are confused and don’t know where to expect the show to air.
Gotham Season 5 will likely return to E4. If a change in that schedule is made, you’ll see this post updated.
