One Punch Man Season 2 is just around the corner. For those of you who have been living under a rock, One Punch Man is returning this week. It is much closer than a lot of you might think it is. The last season ended with Saitama’s epic fight against Boros, and we all know how great that was.
The story in the second season is going to be even more amazing than what the fans expect, but there’s more than that to this anime adaptation. If you have high hopes for the upcoming season, you’ll be disappointed because One Punch Man Season 2 has changed the staff quite a bit so that you won’t get the same level of direction and animation as the previous season.
At the same time, the entire thing is a rushed job. The anime begins airing tomorrow, and we’re told that just about 3 episodes have been created so far. The rest will suffer greatly in terms of quality. Anyway, so let’s move on to One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 1. What do we expect? We expect the next episode to be a bit on the lighter side. We won’t immediately jump into serious action. In my opinion, there are going to be lots of moments between Genos and Saitama.
More importantly, we may finally see the introduction of Garou, who is of great importance in the season, and even beyond that. King was also seen in the trailers, so I expect him to play an important part too. Of course, there may be a bunch of small fights, but Saitama will likely take care of that with ease.
One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 1 airs on April 9, 2019. You can stream it on either Crunchyroll, Hulu, or Funimation.
