Pokémon Trading Card Game fans are excited for the up and coming release date of the Unbroken Bonds expansion set of the world-famous trading card game. Officially named Unbroken Bonds, this marks the tenth expansion in the Sun & Moon era in Japan, which continues to feature Generation VII, Pokémon GX and Tag Team GX in the card game.
Based upon Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the English expansion will be released on May 3, 2019, and the Japanese expansion was released on March 1, 2019. This set reintroduces baby Pokémon to the trading card game, an appearance which we last saw on the HeartGold & SoulSilver Series, nearly ten years ago.
Featuring over 210 cards, seven brand new tag team Pokémon GX, an extra seven Pokémon GX and more than twenty-five trainer cards, and a unique energy card, Pokémon Trading Card Game fans will surely enjoy the hype and fantasy and exciting games that the matches at the battlefield Pokémon arena.
The Unbroken Bounds set will be a combination of Night Unison’s 55 cards, Full Metal Walls 54 cards, and Double Blaze’s 95 cards. This means that the set will include Venomoth-GX, Dedenne-GX, Greninja, and Zoroark-GX as well as Gardevoir and Sylveon-GX. The unrevealed Buzzwole and Pheromosa-GX, Lucario and Melmetal-GX from Full Metal Wall will also be featured in Unbroken Bonds.
Also, an unrevealed Charizard and Reshiram GX from Double Blaze will be on the set. The Pokémon Trading Card Game is a collectible card game based upon Nintendo’s successful hit franchise of video games and anime that was first published in 1996, after being released by Wizards of The Coast, The Pokémon Company took over production of the game and continues to dazzle fans worldwide with its great gameplay mechanics.
