This anime is continuing where it has left us last time in season 1 where it was covering 12 episodes. It is continuing in season 2 which makes this episode 17 but some can consider it as episode 5 of this season. After winning a battle from the Goryo and Ebisu Muhyo left Roji shocked. Goryo explains to Roji that Muhyo’s words meant that he is fired. Goryo fires Ebusi for making her lose the fight from Muhyo’s group.
Goryo’s bodyguards beat Ebisu into pulp before firing him. Later at Magical law association, the train for magical law academy is arriving at platform 1. Roji and Muhyo are waiting for the train to arrive and Muhyo is bidding a farewell to Roji. Roji remembers about their friendship and their past. The train for magical law academy has departed with Roji who is sad.

Previously on Muhyo to Rouji no Mahouritsu Episode 16
Muhyo told Roji to study hard and help Rio while the train is leaving. He ends up saying if Roji does not do that he will be fired for real next time. On their way, Rio told Roji that he is lucky that Muhyo chose him to be his assistant. Roji explained to Rio how he met with Muhyo two years ago. Roji had a flashback where he was lost looking for Muhyo’s Magical Burea who is seeking an assistant.
Roji was just carrying a flyer showing that no experience needed for him to become an assistant. Roji got lost and ask for a Muhyo’s address from an old man. Roji manage to reach Muhyo’s office for an interview. When he reached there he found a small kid reading Jabin manga and decided to make friends with him. He thought that the little kid was there for an interview.
Later Roji found out that Muhyo is the little small kid. In the evening after the interview, Roji kept on asking himself why a little boy has to be an enforcer. Suddenly a monster snake wraps Roji and an unknown guy. The monster want s to eat both of them fortunately others who came for an interview they team up and fight the snake. They want to show Muhyo what they are capable of.
They attack the monster with the art of exorcism but the snake monster keeps on regenerating. Roji’s powers awaken and he blasts the monster into pieces. Roji doesn’t even know that he has powers and he cannot even control his powers. The monster regenerates again and Muhyo arrives to sentence it with hades grasping hands. The next day Roji became Muhyo’s assistant.
