Makoto Shinkai is very famous because of his films that he creates and his last film Your Name was a hit that became the second highest-grossing anime film of all time, and soon spawning plans for an American remake. His latest work is called Weathering With You and it so successful that it is selected as Japan’s official entry to the Oscars.

Now, it is time for the release in the US and its update has been revealed which is 27 January 2020. The story of the movie centering on a teenager who runs away to Tokyo and ends up encountering a girl who has the ability to change the weather. The film’s animation looks great and each animation looks and feels close to real.
Shinkai said, in an interview out of Toronto International Film Festival “I really had just two themes that I wanted to explore,” He further said “One is, of course, about climate change, you know, because lately there’s just been so many disasters and we see it every day on the news and it’s directly related to our lives. […] It’s something I worry about so I wanted to incorporate that into my film, but also have the individual wishes of a boy contrasted with the wishes or the good of the community, and the conflict between that.”
Produced by Genki Kawamura and written by Makoto Shinkai. The cast consists of Hodaka Morishima who is voiced by Kotaro Daigo, Hina Amano voiced by Nana Mori, Keisuke Suga voiced by Shun Oguri and many more. The movie as made 13.51 billion Yen in Japan which is a lot of money. The story is very gripping and it has a lot of meaning behind it.
