From the recent development of Digimon, Koshiro and the crew face a new challenge as they come across their first enemy Algomon. Meanwhile, Taichi’s side was chasing the Digitama of the Holy Digimon which was stolen by Sullknightmon. They clash with the miasma beast Splashmon. Metalgrewmon’s injured arm became a new weapon that helped them defeat Splashmon in a single hit. Takeru opens the doors to enter the castle that Skullknight is in with Digitama. Taichi, Yamato, Takeru, and their Digimon have entered the castle, they are inside the passage heading to Skullknight room. Taichi notice that the Holy Digimon was held here and Digitama is also brought here. He keeps on wondering what is their objective and they suddenly encounter a 3-way route. Agumon asks which way should they go and Takeru uses his feelings and sense the right way. The crew follows Takeru who is leading them using his sense.

Previously on Digimon Adventure Episode 22
Yamato asks Takeru how doe he knows this way and he replied that a voice is calling him. Takeru reminds them of the incident that happened before the power failure in Tokyo. He reveals that is when he has started hearing someone calling him since then. Taichi asks Takeru how did he came to the fake world since he was in the real one and replied that he doesn’t know. Tachi reveals that he was at home last night and he saw the crew fight with the Digimon.
When he wakes up he appears in the fake world. Taichi has noticed that Takeru is the partner of the Holy Digimon that is why he has appeared in this world. Suddenly the crew encounters Chikurimon who are the guards of the castle and they defeated them. Meanwhile, Koshiro and Sora are helping their Digimon to defeat Algomon. Kabuterimon fires Mega Blaster and Birdramon fires Meteore wing that blast Algomon. Taichi’s crew encounters Devimon. They discover that Devimon wants to turn Holy Digimon into Dark Digimon.
Takeru is the sacrifice for the ritual to take place inside the room there is a well of Masma that is going to be used as part of the ritual. Skullknightmon evolves to Darkkightmon to clash with Tachis’ crew. Takeru manages to get hold of Digitama and when they are falling inside the Masma well Waregarurumon saved them. The Digitama hatches a new Digimon that emerges by the name of Poyomon. Metalgrew told everyone that he sensed a presence of evil and the real Devimon shows up. Devimon told Holy Digimon that he is going to fall into the darkness.
