The Boruto manga is getting interesting by each passing chapter, and I think the Kawaki arc has the potential to be the best arc in the series so far. In the last chapter, we saw how Kashin Koji and Delta infiltrated Konohagakure. They both did it for different reasons, though. It seems Kashin Koji is going to betray Kara at some point and he will likely be a pivotal character to the story as we move forward.
Meanwhile, Delta charged headfirst to Konohagakure and appeared right before where Naruto Uzumaki was. She is there to take Kawaki back, but Naruto won’t let her do that. She is also up against the strongest person on the planet, Naruto Uzumaki. I’m pretty sure that Naruto is stronger than her, but Naruto cannot go all out because he has to protect the kids as well. So what will happen in Boruto Chapter 31?
Well, we don’t know for sure, but this is my prediction for Boruto Chapter 31. In my opinion, we will see a lot of good stuff happen in the upcoming chapter. I think that Naruto will go with his signature Shadow-clone Jutsu to protect the kids and then use his real body to test what Kara has in store.
He cannot just go ahead and destroy her, because he wants to see what they’re capable of. Meanwhile, the Shadow-clone will likely be asked to guard the kids and take them to safety so that Naruto can go all-out later on. However, I think Naruto’s clone will be stopped by Kashin Koji himself, which will be very troublesome for the Seventh Hokage.
The two fights will begin, and while Naruto’s clone is protecting Kawaki, Kashin Koji will instead opt to kidnap Boruto Uzumaki, which Naruto didn’t even consider. Delta will retreat as well, and we’ll see the start to the Boruto retrieval arc by Boruto Chapter 32.
Boruto Chapter 30 will be out later this month. The official release date for the manga is January 28, 2019. The scans will be available a day before that. Make sure you support Boruto by reading over official sources and buying the Volume 06 of the manga, which is out already.
