It Part 2 Release Date

The first It movie caused a huge storm when the fans got a glimpse of the horrific clown, Pennywise. The movie was released on September 5, 2017, in the United States and it broke a very long-standing record. The movie managed to beat the record of The Exorcist from 1973 to become the biggest horror movie. The movie has made over £350 million worldwide.

The movie only had the story of the first half of Stephen King’s novel. So, the fans were wondering whether or not they will get a second movie. Director Andy Muschietti revealed a while back that he was expecting the script to be completed by January 2018. The release date of the second movie was released shortly afterward. The movie is going to be released on September 6, 2019.

The first ‘It’ movie was set in 1989. However, the second movie will be set 27 years later in 2016. In the movie, we will see the members of the Losers’ Club coming back to Derry as adults. They are drawn back to the town after they hear the Pennywise has returned.

Pennywise returns to feed off children after every 27 years after the Losers’ Club forced it into early hibernation. ‘IT’ rebuilds its strength and vows to exact revenge against the members of the club.

The cast of the movie is confirmed. Here is the cast:
Bill Skarsgård as It / Pennywise the Dancing Clown
