In the latest chapter of Mitama security: spirit buster Kojime was stalking Rena and Mitama with the idea that Mitama has evil intentions towards Rena. He then trailed them to their movie theatre as he thought Mitama was possessed by a ghost and brought Rena against her will. Things got difficult for Kojime as he was chased out for not having a ticket to the theatres. When they were leaving, Mitama saw a ghost in front of Rena, and as he confronted it, Kojime saw his chance to finally make his move as he thought Mitama was intimidating Rena as Kojime is unable to see ghosts.
As it turned out, Kojime was the one possessed by his grandfather’s ghost as he was obsessed with weights lifting. When a fight broke out between the ghosts and Kojime, he was defeated, leading to the ghost that possessed him to leave with his body returning to normal. Kojime then pointed out that they haven’t seen the last of him as he left thinking of making his comeback for revenge.
The Manga centers around a high school student Rena Haze, who has always been able to see ghosts to a point where she is now used to it. When an agent from “security” by the name of Mitama appears and dedicated himself to protecting her, this builds up an action-packed comedy as they start to encounter and have to deal with various ghosts.
Written and illustrated by Tsurun Hotomune, the manga releases weekly on VIZ’s Shonen Jump and its official websites. Chapter 16 is scheduled to release on the 8th of December 2019.
It began its serialization in September 2019 in Weekly Shonen Jump and is currently published on Sundays with new chapters coming out.
