Ever since the developer team for Slay The Spire confirmed that the game would be coming out for Switch, the Switch users have been waiting for the release. Back then it was revealed that thewould be announced in April. However, there was no news about the release.
The game was released on Steam in January 2019. It is a deckbuilding fantasy which has been created by Mega Crit Games. The players have to choose from three characters to climb up the spire. While trying to reach the summit, they will face a lot of strange occurrences, and they will have to face some infamous monsters as well. The combat system of the game is based on gathering a unique deck of cards. These cards determine what skills and techniques the characters will end up using in battle. This leads to an interesting fusion of rogue-like RPGs and card games.
Powerful items known as relics can be found throughout the Spire. The effects of these relics can greatly enhance your deck through powerful interactions. But beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold…

As I said earlier that the announcement should have been made in April. But, there was no such announcement, and hence, we are still stuck without a update. All we know is that the game will be released sometime in 2019. Now that April is over, we should expect an announcement in May.
