When is the Release Date of The last of Us Part II?
The Last of Us Part II will be released on 29th May 2020, and it will be available on PS4. The game initially scheduled for release in February 2020, however, Naughty Dog decided to push back the release date to have more development time.
Sony recently revealed the specifications for PlayStation 5 and right after that The Last of Us 2 developer Kurt Margenau tweeted about the possibilities of the SSD can make.

It looks they might already be developing a better version for The Last of Us 2 for the PlayStation 5, which will be coming this holiday 2020.
The upcoming sequel will be extremely exciting, and the storyline is teased to be better than the previous installment. Ever since the game was officially announced, fans started their work of digging information regarding the game, and so far, from all the updates out there, it will be safe to assume that Naughty Dog will surprise all of us with this sequel. The first installment in the series made its official debut back in 2013, and it gathered heaps of praise from the fans, and the critics who praised the game for its immersive storyline, visuals, gameplay, and the overall depiction of the characters.
The game became of the best selling games upon its release, and according to stats, the amount surpassed 17 million in 2018. The first installment paved the way for the sequel now its time for the second part to carry the torch and continue its legacy. Despite getting a positive response from the fans, some of the critics slammed for its violence, but Sony silenced them with their statement which read “The Last of Us Part II is made by adults to be played by adults.” According to Druckmann, the game will portray the cycle of violence and will send a message on how violence impacts live to make the players ‘repulsed’ by some which they are committing themselves.
What is the Story of The last of Us Part II?
The Last of Us Part II is set in a post-apocalyptic US five years after the events took place in the finale of part I, and players will play the character of a 19-year old Ellie, and the story will follow her struggle against a mysterious cult which appears to be bad news. According to a recently leaked rumor, Ellie’s love interest Dina might have been killed by this mysterious cult and Ellie is out for vengeance. Apparently, it seems that Dina’s death took a toll on Ellie mentally, and that’s what made Ellie take such drastic violent measures while dealing with the enemies.
