What’s more, if a cast member is allowed to promote the second season of the show openly, then I think it is easy to assume that an official announcement isn’t too far away either. Even though we’re finally into May, things seem to have slowed down regarding the production of The Umbrella Academy Season 2. Fans have been waiting for confirmation regarding a update for ages now, but we’ve got nothing as of late. We’re still pretty confident that a update will be announced in due time, but when that is is something that we don’t know.
We expect an announcement to drop by June 2019. Even then, behind the scenes, work is likely already underway if the show has plans to continue at all.
