Fosse/Verdon is one of the most anticipated TV shows that will air in Spring 2019, and since its premiere is close, I think it is time we talk about it. The show’s been in production since 2018, and fans have been waiting for it since a long time now. Thankfully, it’s nearly upon us, and in this post, we’ll be taking about Fosse/Verdon and everything that we know about it.
Before we begin, please note this post may contain spoilers from the Fosse/Verdon TV show. In this post, you’re likely to run into stuff that you wouldn’t want to know if you don’t like spoilers. If being spoiled is not for you, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.
The show is a biographical miniseries and is actually an adaptation of a book with the same name, written by Sam Wasson. The show’s two main leads are Bob Fosse (Sam Rockwell), and Gwen Verdon (Michelle Williams). We’ll get to know about their messed up personal and professional relationship, and lots of other things as the plot thickens.
So, when does the television show air? Well, we’re mere hours away from the premiere of the show. Fosse/Verdon is set to premiere today, 9 April 2019 on FX.
Aside from the two main leads, the remaining cast for the show includes Margaret Qualley, Norbert Leo Butz, Aya Cash, Nate Corddry, Susan Misner, Bianca Marroquín, Kelli Barrett, Evan Handler, Rick Holmes, Paul Reiser, Ethan Slater, Byron Jennings, and Laura Osnes.
So far, the show’s been named for a total of six episodes, which we’re definitely looking forward to.
