2020 GMC 2500 Sierra is a heavy-duty pickup truck that is right around the corner. The style of this truck is very different from before, and it also shows us some optional features that revolves around towing, hauling, and other truck tasks. Just like before, Sierra has two models which are 2500 an 3500. The various models of Sierra will all look different from each other just like the Silverado HD’s various trim levels. Denali has the requisite chrome-laden front grille.
On the other hand, AT4 has some bits of dark exterior trim which is combined with an off-road suspension setup along with Rancho shocks as well as locking rear differential and all-terrain tires. The light-duty Sierra’s comes with MultiPro tailgate with a 15-inch head-up display along with a camera system.
Sierra HD houses a V-8 and a turbo-diesel V-8. The diesel engine is the 6.6-liter Duramax unit which produces 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. It is mated with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission to replace the old six-speed.
The brand new gasoline engine has a 6.6-liter V-8 with direct injection that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission which produces 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. It has a towing capacity of 35,500 pounds that is with the optional bed-mounted fifth-wheel setup. The price of this car hasn’t been revealed, but it is speculated to start at 40,000. According to GMC, 2020 GMC 2500 will go on sale in the second half of this year.
