In case you might be wondering why Vinland Saga Season 2 would take that long to come it is because the production team had a little project they worked on. At first, it was rumored to be a movie. But when it was finally released, it was a special clip that was about the flashes and scenes that were not yet adapted into anime. More like a teaser on what would be coming, should the Second Season start.
Vinland Saga season 1 was produced by WIT Studio, the same studion that also worked on Attack on titan. The director was Shuhei Yabuta who also directed Inuyashiki: Last Hero anime. The special effects were assisted by Studion MAD BOX. The Hunter X Hunter animation director Takahiko Abiru worked as the character designer. While Hiroshi Seko and Saga Tanya were on the scripts writers. And on the song’s composer it had Yukata Yamada who is famous for Tokyo Ghoul music.
