Marvel has been providing fans with top quality movies over the years, and its fans have gotten used to their habit of killing off a character now and then. After what we witnessed in the biggest superhero movie of all time, The Avengers: Endgame, it’s clear that no one is safe in the universe and the next fan-favorite character can meet the end. However, the reverse of death is also possible.
The most recent revelation was made by Frank Grillo who hinted fans about the return of his character in the upcoming Marvel movies. The interview was conducted by Comicbook and thanks to them, we have got the details of it. The idea of him returning is still not clear. However, he did reveal something interesting. We have gathered all the details and information about the interview, so here is everything you need to know.
Frank Grillo played the character of Brock Rumlow (Crossbones) in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. He died in Captain America: Civil War following a suicide attack. In the interview with Comicbook, Frank Grillo revealed that he still has a contract of five movies for Marvel, so the possibility of him returning is very high.
He then jokes about the idea of him being the next Captain America after Anthony Mackie, more like a middle-aged, Italian Captain America. However, his return will not be a full return as according to speculations, there could be a prequel standalone movie for his character Crossbones or any type of flashback.
Earlier one of the writers, Christopher Markus, revealed that it’s not possible to bring back a character to life. In the interview, Markus said that ‘its the nature of MCU and the characters have to pass out,’ if someone is off the board then it’s for real.
