The mystery teen drama series The Society will be returning with its second season soon, and fans are looking forward to seeing what lies ahead of the gang in season 2. Created by Christopher Keyser, the series made its debut in May 2019 and was officially renewed for season 2 in July 2019.

What is the Plot of The Society Season 2?
The show follows the lives of a young group who has this big responsibility of running their community in a streamlined manner on their shoulders. All of this happened after one day where nearly all of the people disappeared, and luckily for that time being, the teenagers were gone for their school trip, however, it got canceled, and they returned only to find a ghost town. To their horror, their town was cut off from the outside world and was surrounded by a dense forest. In such a desperate situation, the young group must come up with ways of survival and run the community by themselves.
In the finale of season 1, the group found out that they were actually trapped in a parallel universe rather than being on their own planet, and despite the team not revealing the official story for season 2, fans expect it to continue from the finale of the first installment.
A lot of questions will be answered in season 2, of which, the main being the reason behind them getting transported to the parallel universe and not others. According to Kathryn Newton, season 2 will explore the duo of Grizz and Allie, and they will be backing each other up in their predicament.
