Playable on Nintendo Switch, Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2 is the upcoming sequel to 2017’s open-world Zelda Game. It is refreshing and special for the Zelda franchise and is simply a masterclass in open-world game design.
The Nintendo had dropped the bombshell at the end of the E3 2019 presentation, which confirmed the apprehensions of the gaming fraternity about the sequel, which started after the Japanese publisher appeared to be hiring for the 3D level designers in 2018.
Unfortunately, the game is experiencing unexpected delays that are pushing the update back further than originally anticipated.
When is Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2 update?
Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2 will be released in early 2021. We do not have a confirmed update as of now, as the game is still in development. The trailer of the sequel game shared by the Japanese publisher ending with the lines that the Breath of the Wild sequel was ‘in development.’ The reliable leaker of the gaming arena, Sabi, has suggested that Zelda updates are historically delayed, internally or publicly. Sabi had also leaked most other big announcements from E3 2019 before they happened. Nintendo has ‘gifted’ him a cease and desist notice for his leaks. What is Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2 Update?
The game’s co-developer has recently said on media that Nintendo is looking forward to expanding its team for a character modeler, concept art designer, map modeler, and scenario planner for a new Zelda game.
Nintendo Japan has tweeted regarding some job listing for scenario planner and level designer. Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has revealed that they had originally planned for more DLC content for Breath Of The Wild after The Champion’s Ballad and Master Trials add-ons that came in 2017. The game is still under development. More news is awaited.
What is Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2 Trailer?
The trailer of Zelda: Breath of Wild 2 is spooky in nature. It features a torch-carrying link along with Zelda traversing a dark dungeon beneath Hyrule. The trailer has also suggested the return of Ganondorf. We also see the spirit-like tendrils creep around the musty mob that they are exploring with a pair riding a large elephant-like beast.
In the trailer, Zelda and link are trying to explore an underground chamber with some mysterious runs, glowing hands, and a brand new haircut that has set the internet on fire. There are no dialogues in the trailer, and it runs for only 82 seconds.
