Made In Abyss Season 2: update
Made In Abyss Anime

Made in Abyss has gained quite a lot of popularity recently, and the anime’s second season is expected to drop soon. The series has been written by Akihito Tsukushi and is published by Takeshobo. The story of Made in Abyss revolves around a young orphan girl who is named Riko. She lives in Belcher Orphanage, located in the town of Orth, which itself is on an island in Beoluska sea.

The island has a weird setting since there is a huge hole right in the middle that goes deep into the earth, just like an Abyss. This abyss has remains of the old civilizations in it and is an adventure spot for many of the Cave Raiders. Obviously, they do this to recover the remains. Riko’s reason to go down is a bit different. She wants to go there to look for her mother, and she befriends a Robot to help her do so.

Made In Abyss Season 2 Production

Made In Abyss Season 1 aired in July 2017, and since then, we’ve not received a second season. It is believed that the second season is currently under production. Made In Abyss has also received a film which is set to premiere this month, and if any work is to be done in the second season, now would be the time. It has already been confirmed that Made in Abyss Season 2 is in the early stages of production. After the second season of Made in Abyss was announced creator Akihito Tsukushi took to Twitter and said:

“Thank you to the Abyss narrator and everyone on the cast and staff. Cheers for the good work! So, what’s that? Are you coming to the official announcement at seven o’clock? Alarm calling!” We don’t know when exactly it will be out, but six months of production is considered average, with nine months being a healthy production period.
