What is The World of the Married About?

Based on the 2015 BBC One drama Doctor Foster by Mike Bartlett, The World of the Married also sees a comeback to the small screen in Kim Hee Ae who plays family medicine doctor Ji Sun Woo. Sun Woo has an extremely successful career working as an associate director in her hospital and has a seemingly happy family.  She is married to Lee Tae Oh (played by Park Hae Joon) and the two experience a fallout in their marriage due to his betrayal. She suspects that her husband is having an affair and these feelings of suspicions soon turn into anger and resentment towards her husband.

Lee Tae Oh, on the other hand, wants to become a movie director as it is his dream. He has his own entertainment business that he runs with the help and support of his wife Ji Sun Woo. He gets into a relationship that screams doom for his marriage. The K-drama is full of mind boggling twists and turns and so far has only shown itself to be of high quality.
