KonoSuba is a very good anime, and I would recommend watching it if you haven’t watched it. The release of the third season of KonoSuba has been pushed a bit back because a KonoSuba movie that might be coming out soon. The movie is titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Crimson Legend. The movie has been confirmed.

It has been officially confirmed that the movie will be coming out in 2019. The movie will have a different animation studio. A lot is riding on the movie’ success.
There have been a lot of rumors in the past about the show being canceled by Natsume Akatsuki, who is the creator of the KonoSuba light novel series. The show hasn’t been officially renewed for a third season by Studio Deen. But, it doesn’t seem that it won’t be canceled as it is very popular.
Junichiro Tamura, a Kadokawa producer, claimed that KonoSuba has a good chance of being renewed if the movie would do well in the theaters.
The upcoming movie was teased back in July 2017 in an interview with Rie Takahashi and Jun Fukushima who voice Megumin and Satou Kazuma. The duo teased the fans during the radio program that a new anime project which is based on the original Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! light novel series was in the works.
Back in October 2018, the official KonoSuba Twitter account confirmed that the KonoSuba movie is coming out in 2019.
The movie will have Kazuma, Megumin, Darkness, Aqua, and Yunyun coming back. If we take a look at the movie trailers, then it is clear that Crimson Legend will adapt the next part in the main story from the light novels. In this part, we see Megumin’s family, and it is actually a direct continuation of the anime series.
