The Hustle boasts of one of the finest star casts, Anne Hathaway (fame: Oceans 13) and Rebel Wilson. Both these actresses are a name to reckon with and did a fantastic job with The Hustle, the movie was released on our screens last month. This 2019 American comedy film is directed by Chris Addison and written by Stanley Shapiro, Dale Launer, Paul Henning. For those of you who don’t know, The Hustle is a remake of the 1988 movie ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ albeit it is female-centered.
Besides Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson, The Hustle stars Alex Sharp, and Dean Norris. It is the tale of these two women who immaculately con an internet millionaire. The Hustle is produced by Roger Birnbaum and Rebel Wilson. The screenplay was provided by Stanley Shapiro, Paul Henning, Dale Launer and Jac Schaeffer.
Anne Dudley has composed music for the movie whereas it was edited by Anthony Boys. Besides Metro Goldwyn Mayer, The Hustle is sold under the banner of Pin High Productions, Cave 76 Productions, Camp Sugar Productions. Right now, the question that most of the fans have is, especially those who missed out on the movie and would like to own DVD versions, when will The Hustle come out on Blu-ray Disc.
The Hustle became a box-office hit earning round about $78 million but the critics hated it, called it negative and cheap. Previously, scheduled for August 2019, The Hustle was released on May 10, 2019.
The Hustle is out on DVD and Blu-Ray August 20. Unfortunately, we don’t have a date for the Digital HD, we may be informed in August about the same.
