The highly anticipated Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes RPG, a collaborative project by 505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios, has announced a delay in its release from 2023 to the second quarter of 2024. The decision was made to “ensure the best possible story” and “best game experience.” The game will be available on various platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic, and GOG.
Having become the third-most funded game on Kickstarter, impressively surpassing its US$509,713 goal within just three hours of launching in July 2020, Eiyuden Chronicle’s campaign raised a whopping 481,621,841 Yen (US$4,571,418).
Stretch goals were met, promising a companion town-creation RPG by Natsume-Atari at the final destination of US$4.5 million. Fans now have higher expectations as 505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios promise an unforgettable gaming experience when Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes finally hits the market in 2024.
Rabbit and Bear Studios, in a statement, claimed that this decision was made to deliver an exceptional gaming experience that lives up to the immense support received from fans, and so they have decided to revise the release date of the game.
Now slated for Calendar Year Q2 of 2024, this delay will allow the team to present the best possible story. While the anticipation might be challenging, the promise of a truly enjoyable game makes the wait all the more worthwhile.

All About Eiyuden Chronicle
After a successful 25 years, the creative geniuses Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano masterminds behind Suikoden I and II, reunite for a brand-new adventure, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Murayama takes the role of the scriptwriter and game designer, while Kawano acts as the character designer.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Osamu Komuta, known for Suikoden Tierkreis and Rhapsodia, is the system designer and director, while Junichi Murakami, the art director and producer of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Hero Bank fame, are all a part of the team.
The well-known Motoi Sakuraba and Michiko Naruke compose the music for the upcoming game. Everything is brought to you by Rabbit & Bear Studios, which emerged in Tokyo’s gaming scene back in March 2020.
The Plot of the Game
In the vibrant and diverse realm of Allraan, the story unfolds amidst the clashing cultures and powers fueled by rune-lenses, mystical objects of immense power. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, the previously released prequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, made its debut on various platforms in May 2022. The game was released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic, and GOG, offering players several choices for their gaming options.
