Detective Pikachu: New Extended Trailer, Release Date, And Plotline

Detective Pikachu

Detective Pikachu has received a mixed reaction from the fans. Some loved it; others prefer Pokemon to be the way they are supposed to be. Either way, the movie is probably going to be good whether you like it or not and most of the fans are excited about it.

I think there is a lot of potential in the movie, and if it is executed right, it could go on to become a spectacle. Of course, that’s just my opinion; you don’t have to share it necessarily. But if you do, then you will surely be interested in knowing more about the movie and what we should be expecting.

So let’s get into all sorts of details about Detective Pikachu, shall we? Before we begin, I want to make you all know that this post contains a lot of spoilers from the movie. If you don’t want to get spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.

As you might know already, Pokemon dropped a new trailer for Detective Pikachu last night, and it was something. Even those who were unsure about the movie at first are no thinking that this could well be a great one.

The trailer was hilarious, and you could see how Pikachu isn’t the only one in the movie who’ll be important. There are all sorts of Pokemon there. We got to see the likes of Charizard, Machamp, Snubbull, and Ludicolo, Cubone, Snorlax and Eevee, and of course, the all-powerful Mewtwo.

Pikachu, as you may know already, is voiced by Ryan Reynolds and that just adds to the excitement of the movie. Whether the film will live up to the hype can only be known when it comes out. We will have to wait quite a bit for that. Detective Pikachu will be out on May 10, 2019.
