Ford Explorer 2020 is one of the most anticipated cars of the next year. The car has an 8-inch display for the dashboard and two USB ports. The 2020 Ford Explorer is priced at $32,765, and it sees a $400 increase over the 2019 model. First, we have the 2020 Explorer XLT, which costs $36,675. It costs $2,275 more than the outgoing model. Ford has decided to add more options which were previously options as standard.
The buyers also get LED signature lighting along with 18-inch aluminum wheels, and there are also heated exterior mirrors. It has also received an upgrade as it will have the new acoustic glass, which will make the cabin a lot quieter. Also, the driver and passenger get power-adjusting seats.
The second row has captain’s chairs, and there are two extra USB ports. The XLT also has keyless entry along with push-button start button. It will also have reverse sensors. The driver will get a 6.5-inch display at the center.
I’m not going to discuss all the trims of the car in this post. Along with XLT, I will talk a bit about the specs in the new Explorer ST. The 2020 Explorer ST will have a performance-minded version of the group. It is the most powerful variant with its 3.0 liter EcoBoost rated for 400 horsepower along with 415 lb-ft of torque. This trim also has the biggest price increase as it gets a huge $8,000+ increase from the last year’s model. 2020 Ford Explorer ST will cost $54,750.
There is a lot of changes to the model which including a unique ST grille along with new bumpers at the front and rear. The ST will also have folding mirrors. On the inside of the car, there are heated and cooled seats which are joined by a memory driver seat, mirrors, and pedals. Ford ST will also have wireless charging and a special ST steering wheel.
If you have been impressed by the vehicle and plan to buy one of the many trims available for the 2020 Explorer, then you won’t have to wait for long. All the six variants will be available in the US in the summer of 2019. The vehicles will be built at the Ford Chicago Assembly Plant.
