The development of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has almost been completed, and its update will be released very soon now. The company has now gone giving attention to the base 2.3-liter EcoBoost Mustang and cooking up the new High-Performance package for the 2020 Mustang.
This was inspired by an in-house one-off Mustang build which features a Focus RS engine, and the build proves to be so entertaining that the Mustang team submitted a formal plan to migrate it into the production lineup.
The engine of this car was confirmed by Ford which is a built-in Spain, and turbocharged 2.3-liter engine from the Focus RS. which is desirable for its high-performance extra-cylinder head. When completed this engine will produce 330 horsepower; that’s 350-hp tune as utilized in the Focus RS application but 20 more than the 310-hp version of the 2.3-liter EcoBoost in the 2019 Mustang.
Moreover, Ford has claimed that it will go from zero-to-60-mph times in the mid-four-second range on premium fuel. The price and update for 2020 Mustang GT has yet to be revealed but I think it will range between $35,000 and $40,000 and it will release at the beginning of 2020.
