The famed TV show Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s director of ‘Castlevania’ namely Koji Igarashi’s return to the Metroidvania genre after his departure from Konami was announced. This announcement was made back in 2015, through a Kickstarter campaign. A total of $500,000 were raised within four hours of the campaign. By the end of the first day, over $1 million were raised and by the end of it all, $5.5 million were raised. This proved the point that fans were hungry for Bloodstained after all.
It’s been nearly four years, and we haven’t seen much of Bloodstained since then. Are we inching closer to the game, what is the deal here? Keep reading to find out.
First things first, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night does not have a setas of now. But they say it is set to arrive in Summer 2019. Bloodstained was originally slated to release in 2017, it then got delayed to 2018. For now, the summer of 2019 is what you should keep in your mind.
The game Bloodstained will release on multiple platforms of Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. At the same time, Wii U and PS Vita versions of the game have been canceled. In February of 2019, Nintendo came out with a trailer of Bloodstained. Here watch:
It has pretty basic gameplay, in my opinion, a cathedral stage, art style combat with low-fi special effects. Kickstarter on its official page had confirmed David Hayter as one of the main voice actors.
The Bloodstained will shine upon its release. Therefore makers will waste no time to release it. More as we have it.
