Venom might not have been the movie of the year or anything, but it was popular enough to get a sequel. Just a couple of weeks after the movie premiered, we got an announcement that said there is going to be a sequel. Venom 2 is happening an that’s exactly what we’ll be talking about in this post.
Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post may contain spoilers from the previous, and the upcoming Venom movie as well. In this post, you’ll find stuff that you wouldn’t want to know if you don’t like spoilers. If you hate being spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
So, is Venom 2 actually happening? Yes. Tom Hardy has been contracted for not two, but three Venom movies. So there’s a potential for the verse to expand as well. For now, we know that the movie since going to be titled Venom 2. We don’t know when it’ll be out, but we do know that it is not going to happen in 2019.
We expect Venom 2 to come out around 2020, or 2021. While the information on the staff isn’t known yet, we suspect that Ruben Fleischer is going to return to direct the movie. Reports suggest that the next Venom movie is going to introduce Carnage, and we are more than hyped for it. A trailer or teaser for the movie isn’t out, but of the movie is going to happen 2020, we’ll get one by the end of the year.

Theof Venom 2 has been in talks recently and it seems that the movie has been set for a Fall 2020 update. Sony has plans for a movie that’s labelled ‘Untitled Sony/Marvel Sequel’ and is scheduled for October 2, 2020. We think that this is Venom 2’s update.
For now, no otherlooks apparent to us. Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, and when it is, we’ll make sure to let you all know. So, stay tuned to Otakukart.
