The new season follows Aichi Sendou, who is the main protagonist of the series. Aichi’s life takes an exciting turn as he is reunited with Toshiki Kai. Toshiki is the same person who games an important card, “Blaster Blade” from the game, “Vanguard.”
The anime is being directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT) at OLM. Masanao Akahoshi (Future Card Buddyfight, Future Card Buddyfight 100) is taking care of the script. The characters will be designed by Satoru Isono (Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT, Omamori Himari, Akane Maniax). Teruhiko Niida (Kill Me Baby, Cardfight!! Vanguard G) will be acting as the art director for the anime. Yuichi Imaizumi (Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT) is the sound director.
Cardfight!! Vanguard: Zoku Koukousei-hen is a pretty decent anime. This is a new season of the show. There are many more seasons that you need to watch before starting this one. So, if you were having second thoughts about watching the show because it wasn’t long enough for you, then there’s no need to worry about it. You will have plenty of episodes to watch if you want to try and get into the series.
