White Chicks is that one movie that did good business at the box office despite the negative response from its critics. Its success at Box Office led to its two subsequent sequels named Rush Hour 2 (2001) and Rush Hour 3 (2007). In fact, Rush Hour 2 is the 11th-highest-grossing film of 2001 worldwide as well as the second-highest-grossing PG-13 film. Rush Hour 3, however, was given a mixed review.
The movie plot revolves around Jackie Chan (as Detective Inspector Lee) and Chris Tucker (as Detective James Carter). They are two poles working together to solve a kidnapping case of a Chinese diplomat’s abducted daughter.
The second installment in the Rush Hour franchise, Rush Hour 2, is about a murder case the protagonists encounter while on their vacation in Hong Kong. Additionally, Rush Hour 3 follows a case involving tracing the assassin to Paris. They were part of the Chinese triads’ mystery.

The Other Guys (2010)
Adam McKay co-wrote a 2010 American buddy cop action comedy film, The Other Guys, with Chris Henchy. Critics received this movie well. Being the fourth film among the five Will Ferrell and McKay collaborations, it’s the only film not co-written by Ferrel. It grossed $170 million worldwide.

This duo meets several comic instances when solving a case involving multi-billionaire Sir David Ershon, client Lendl Global’s CEO Pamela Boardman, and Allen’s wife Sheila, along with others. However, the film ends happily when Terry marries his love Francine and Allen reunites with his wife.
Rat Race (2001)
Jerry Zucker-directed Rat Race is an American comedy film from the year 2001. It has an ensemble cast including Rowan Atkinson, Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding Jr., etc. This movie was based on Stanley Kramer’s 1963 movie, and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
The movie plot follows six teams participating in a racing game. The race is for 563 miles (906 km) from a Las Vegas casino to a Silver City, New Mexico train station. They all aim for a duffel bag filled with $2 million. The first one to reach it will win the prize.

Nuns on the Run is a British comedy film that stars Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane in the lead as thieves and features Camille Coduri and Janet Suzman too. It was released on March 16, 1990, and was a success at US and UK box offices. However, it was criticized for the use of the image of Nuns in the core of comedy.
Blue Streak
Les Mayfield-directed Blue Streak is a movie from the year 1999. The film involves Martin Lawrence (as Miles Logan/Detective Malone) and Luke Wilson (as Carlson), who are detectives investigating burglaries in the town.
The movie plot revolves around these two actors who meet during a $17 million diamond heist in Los Angeles. Jewel thief Miles was a part of this heist, who hid the stolen diamond in the ducts of a building under construction before getting arrested. 21 Jump Street
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s 21 Jump Street is a 2012 American film featuring a buddy cop action comedy type of film. 21 Jump Street movie stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the lead roles. One is a socially awkward yet smart officer, Morton Schmidt, and a slow-witted yet handsome cop, Greg Jenko, respectively.
21 Jump Street is an adaptation of Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh’s 1987–1991 television series with the same title. The movie plot revolves around these grown-up cops, who are forced to relive their school and subsequently a college life (in 22 Jump Street, 2014) for solving drug-related cases.
