Season six of The Vikings was shot on location in County Wicklow, Ireland. It consists of 20 episodes in the forthcoming run and it will be split into two. Back in January 2019, it was confirmed that Season 6 was to be the last of the historical drama. The season was commissioned by US broadcaster History in 2017.
It’s been so long since we’ve seen Vikings, season five premiered on November 29, 2017, in the UK and was available on Amazon for Prime, UK subscribers the next day. Season 5 was divided into two parts, the first 10 installments aired from November 29, 2017, prior to a midseason break. Vikings returned on November 28, 2018, for the second half of season five and ended its run on January 30, 2019.
