Fans who are finding it difficult to bid goodbye to GRRM’s Game of Thrones, whatever you heard is correct so far. The star writer is busy in collaboration with the Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki. The duo is involved in a game that is set in a fantasy universe. The good thing is that the title is out and the game is officially going to be called Elden Ring.
On June 9, it was revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference that Elden Ring is expected to be out soon. It will be another game on the lines of “Soulsborne” with gameplay that reminds us of the Dark Souls series, and also Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice series.
These games that are listed above are gritty and are known for their punishing, tiresome yet rewarding difficulties. Also, the games are set in fantasy universes that are full of horror elements.
We first heard about Elden Ring in May of 2019, by the writer George R.R. Martin himself. He teased this news via his blog that he has consulted on some video game out of Japan. This was followed by news that collaboration will be done with FromSoftware. And as we know, none of it was untrue, all of our speculations turned out to be correct.

The theme of Elden Ring would be “the will, or ambition of mankind.” On June 9, at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference Elden Ring was revealed officially.
