The Pirates of the Caribbean has been one of the most successful and popular franchises of Disney and all of the films have made a collective amount of over $4 billion worldwide, so tapping into it for a reboot version is a very predictable move from Disney, and fans are looking forward to seeing what the upcoming reboot has to offer.
According to a mail from Daily Mail TV, Stuart Beattie said that Depp has had a great run over the years and he has made the character of Jack Sparrow his own and because of him, the character has received immense popularity. Sean Bailey responded to the absence of Depp, and he noted that the team wants to bring new ‘energy,’ and ‘vitality.’ Ted Elliot will return for the screenplay, and a new face Craig Mazin will come aboard. It was also revealed that with Depp out, Disney would save a lot of money, so it will be interesting to see how the reboot shapes up.
