Carmen Sandiego Season 2: Release Date And All We Know So Far

The Animated series Carmen Sandiego dropped on Netflix earlier this year, on January 18. Many of us wondered if the second season of the show was given the green light, and the answer is yet. It’s amazing because Carmen Sandiego is pure fun to watch. If you don’t know this by now, but the talent powerhouse of Jane The Virgin’s
Gina Rodriguez voices the red fedora-wearing lead star. She is a master thief who uses her skills for good, and she used her thieving skills for the better. She takes from other thieves and uses her cunning to put a stop to V.I.L.E., which is a criminal syndicate of thieves on a prowl.

For those of you who don’t know, Carmen Sandiego based on the ’80s and ’90s educational video games titled ‘Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?”. In this video game, players had a task of tracking down villains from around the world. The franchise hasn’t stopped there, there have been plenty of TV game shows and another animated series. Later on, the franchise was rebooted for Netflix.

Fans of the video game have been asked to keep their red fedoras on and to stay tuned for more details. So, what can we expect from Season 2 of the series?

When Will Carmen Sandiego Season 2 Release?

Not much has been made about try series except renewal news. We don’t have a release date on the table at the moment. Many fans are thinking that it would drop on Netflix at the end of 2019. Netflix first ordered Carmen Sandiego back in April 2017, for 20 episodes. Season 1 had only nine episodes for us to watch. Season 2, therefore, will show the rest. The show is in production mode as of now.

Amongst the cast members, Rodriguez sill return as Carmen Sandiego, Finn Wolfhard as super hacker and Carmen’s right hand, Boston siblings Zack (Michael Hawley) and Ivy (Abby Trott) will return too. From amongst the V.I.L.E crew: Professor Maelstrom (Liam O’Brien), Coach Brunt (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn), Shadow-san (Paul Nakauchi), Dr Saira Bellum (Sharon Muthu), Countess Cleo (Toks Olagundoye), Dash Haber (Troy Baker), Gray/Crackle (Michael Goldsmith), Sheena (Kari Wahlgren), Cookie Booker (Rita Moreno), and Paper Star (Kimiko Glenn), are all supposed to make a comeback. The Chief (Dawnn Lewis), French Interpol agent-turned-A.C.M.E. detective Chase Devineaux (Rafael Petardi), and Julia Argent (Charlet Chung) will all make a comeback.
