NPD Bookscan, now known as Circana Bookscan, experienced a merger of NPD Group and Information Resources, Inc. in 2022. Renowned in the worlds of book lovers, publishers, and authors, Circana Bookscan compiles the weekly sale data of print books from more than 16,000 locations, including all forms of book sale and presents the most successful work.
It is one of the main sources for tracking book sales in the U.S. and creates monthly sale lists.
