Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga has claimed the remarkable position of #2 on Circana BookScan’s Top 20 adult graphic novels list for June. But are we really surprised? Demon Slayer has been breaking records here and there, winning every award like no tomorrow; so it’s no shock that this masterpiece of a manga ranked so high.
Just imagining flipping through the pages of this manga and feeling your adrenaline rush as you witness Tanjiro Kamado and his fellow demon slayers fearlessly take on the mission of removing any darkness that dares threaten humanity. Being unable to see the line between hero and villain can really bring out the strongest emotions, and that’s exactly what Demon Slayer is known for.
Every swing of a blade carries the weight of a thousand souls. With the intoxicating blend of action, emotion, and stunning artwork, Demon Slayer has and continues to hold readers in a chokehold with no escape. Calling this series a powerhouse is truly an understatement.
