Nana Mizuki is set to join the cast of the anime adaptation of Inori’s “I’m in Love with the Villainess” light novel series, taking on the role of Princess Manaria Sousse from the Kingdom of Sousse. The series will premiere on Tokyo MX, scheduled for October 2 at 12:30 a.m. JST, with subsequent broadcasts on other networks.
The anime will also be available for streaming on d Anime Store and ABEMA! Excitingly, an advanced screening of the first three episodes was scheduled for September 24 at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas.
I’m in Love with the Villainess is a not-so-different light novel that has been gaining quite a bit of attention lately. This series revolves around a twist on the isekai genre, where the protagonist finds themselves not in the shoes of the hero, but rather head over heels for the villainess.

The anime adaptation of I’m in Love with the Villainess is directed by Hideaki Oba and produced by Platinum Vision. The script writing and supervision are handled by Ayumu Hisao, the character designs, originally designed by AONOSHIMO and Hanagata, are animated by Youko Satou, and Hajime Takakuwa acts as the sound director.
The opening theme song, Raise Y/Our Hands!!, and the ending theme song, O.C. ～Optimum Combination～, are both performed by Yū Serizawa and Karin Nanami. The music is composed by the duo, Noriyuki Asakura and Usagi to Uma.

The Plot
Oohashi Rei, an ordinary 9-5 worker, suddenly finds herself inhabiting the body of the protagonist from her beloved otome game, Revolution. What’s even more unexpected is that the first person she encounters in this new world is none other than her favorite character, Claire Francois, the story’s main antagonist.
With an unexpected twist, Rei embarks on a mission to ignite a romance with Claire, instead of the game’s traditional male leads. The real question is: how will Claire, the villainous figure, respond to this unconventional courtship?
