Recap
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 10 continued to adapt chapters 21 and 22 from the manga and saw the continuation of the fight between Fireren and Aura. While the latter was surprised that even though the former did not have any mana, her strength was on par with her.
Nevertheless, Aura doesn’t seem to be startled and thinks that she’s figured out Fireren’s trick. Before the fight goes any further we see a flashback that showcases Frieren when she was just a child when she witnessed her whole village being slaughtered by the Knights of the Demon King.
Thus, the legendary mage, Flamme finds Frieren, and the former is impressed by how the latter survived such an incident and begins teaching her how to control her power and her mana. It is there where we see that Frieren learned to control her Mana and deplete only necessary mana for her opponents.
Coming back to the present, Frieren showcases her true mana making Aura nervous and thus the latter uses her Scaling power but to her surprise, the scaling favored Fireren’s side rendering Aura to not fight anymore.
Thus, Frieren showcases the power of the true mana which Aura is baffled to witness, and given that the former had the control, the episode ends with the former ordering the latter to kill herself while she walks from the scene in a very cool way.
