The latest chapters of the series saw some exciting development and while fans were hoping to see Denji finally turning into Chainsaw Man again, it turns out it will be a while before it does that. Recap And Review
Chainsaw Man Chapter 148 was titled “Room 606 Sword” and the chapter continued with Denji being accused of being a wannabe Chainsaw Man by the civilians thus, the people are panicking and asking him to show his chest to prove that he is not one.
Even though Quanxi says that they are from the public Safety division, the civilian wants proof and therefore still asks Denji to show his chest. Seeing how the scene has turned out, Quanxi asks them to run away while being shot at her hand by one of the people.
The scene then shifts to Asa’s house where her one arm is cut off before she could have touched the floor to turn her apartment into a weapon. Yoshida goes after Asa’s other arm but she stops it and thus, the former calls out to the Octopus to capture her but before it can capture, Asa yells “Room 606 Sword”.
The next spread sees the room disappearing with everything in it but Yoshida is still there and Asa is under the Octopus’ tentacle. Soon, Asa appears outside out of it by cutting the tentacle. Yoru has taken over Asa and she notes how incredible it is that they turned the room into a weapon without even touching it which means that they are getting strong.
Yoru goes to attack Yoshida but she collapses into the walls of the next building since she is not able to control her speed. As she appears from the rubble, she notes that Yoshida has fled away and is happy to note that the world is at war.
