The Goryeo-Khitan-Khitan an ongoing South Korean drama series. The drama mainly revolves around its three main characters and is a historical drama. Korean dramas are loved worldwide, and this drama airs full-fledged on a large scale. Goryeo-Khitan War has aired its initial two episodes already and revolves around the lives of Gang Gam Chan, King Hyong Jong, and Yang Gyu. The story of the drama starts off with its main characters, where King Hyong Jong of Goryeo unites several people under his leadership by uniting the Goryeo. Though this path was not easy at all, he did so by leading the victorious war against the Khitans.
This historical television drama series mainly deals with the second and third periods of the esteemed Goryeo-Khitan War. How the people of Goryeo are united together to march a war against Khitan has been shown in details within the drama. Though much of the movement has been done and executed by King Hyong Jong of Goryeo, he was not in this alone and was hugely supported by his political teacher and commander in chief, Gang Gam Chan.
Goryeo-Khitan War takes all the historical perspectives into consideration and has been adapted from a novel named Goryeo-Khitan War: Sweet Rain in the Winter by Gil Seung Soo. While this series will not be a short one, unlike other Korean dramas, it will go on until thirty-two of its episodes depicting the stories and instances of the era. Goryeo-Khitan War Episode 3 will soon airs its next episode and take the story forward. The drama has already premiered its first two installations. But before we head any further, let us also take a quick look at the prior instances of the show. The episode starts with the prince being pushed to drink the tea, which is poisoned by the queen.
Amidst the politics in the palace, the prince tries with all his might to survive and one day become an emperor. The court lady Choi places two conditions in front of him: one is to quietly drink the tea or to let the armed soldiers harm all the monks outside. Just as he was about to drink the tea, he comes to senses that either way the people would not be allowed to live, and he decided later to run away.
Worried about the prince, the majesty orders one of his trusted court members to go to temple Simhyeol and find out and confirm if Prince Daeryangwon is alive or not. While Queen Dowager is trying to hurt the prince, how long will he survive. Lord Lee from the royal court goes to check on the prince and it turns out that even he is involved in it all.
Just when Prince Daeryangwon somehow tries to let the Majesty know what is going on, a fire breaks out and all the people make chaos. Amidst the political rivalry, will the Majesty and the last descendant of the Dragon live, or will they meet their fates? will be unveiled soon with the next release.

Goryeo-Khitan War Episode 3 will release on 18th November 2023. The drama airs two episodes every week on Saturdays and Sundays. Adapted from a novel, the direction of the drama has been done by Jeon Woo Sung and Kim Han Sol.
