Days of Our Lives star Jessica Serfaty reportedly discovered a tracking device hidden in her car.
The 33-year-old actress recently found an Apple AirTag placed in her Range Rover. Law enforcement sources informed the outlet that Serfaty received an alert on her iPhone, indicating that an AirTag was nearby.
TMZ reports that Serfaty was “immediately concerned” since she hadn’t placed any trackers in her vehicle and promptly notified the authorities. Despite their efforts, neither Serfaty nor the authorities could locate the device after a thorough search.
Although the tracker wasn’t found, police are continuing their investigation using Serfaty’s phone to gather more information about the AirTag and its owner.
Serfaty has not publicly commented on the situation. However, she did share an inspirational quote on her social media.
“Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid. Courage means you don’t let fear stop you,” read the message on her Instagram Story on Monday, August 19.
Along with the motivational words, Serfaty posted several photos from her vacation in Spain, including selfies and scenic shots.
Serfaty’s time off comes after her departure from Days of Our Lives in June. She joined the cast as Sloan Peterson in 2022.
Last month, Serfaty made headlines when she accused her fiancé, Leonardo Del Vecchio, of abuse. However, she later retracted the allegations and issued an apology.
“Leo and I apologize to anyone who was triggered or affected by yesterday’s story. Sometimes, families have their own arguments, and these should never be made public,” she shared via her Instagram Story.
“We ask that people respect our privacy at this time. I would never stay with an abusive man, which Leonardo Del Vecchio is not.
I revoke my words that were driven by anger and not in truth. I take back my words on a guy who will always be my companion, stepfather, and family person to me.”
Serfaty and Del Vecchio, 29, got engaged in July 2023 and recently celebrated their anniversary.
“If only you had a better personality. @leonardo_mdv your smile after you saw my happiness is all I need to know,” Serfaty captioned a July Instagram slideshow of the couple.
“And to our 3rd wheel who took all these pictures, you’re always welcome you too @hotstufflildevil made our anniversary even more special. You’re always invited in my book.”
