Lady Gaga has a full agenda these days, juggling the promotion of her new single and gearing up for the premiere of her latest film. Yet, despite her busy schedule, she still found time to delight her fans.
In a post on her X account on Tuesday (Sept. 3), Gaga gave fans a sneak peek at her upcoming month, which includes premieres and press events for Joker: Folie à Deux.
But the most exciting detail for fans came at the end of the schedule. Beneath the note about the film’s October 4 premiere date, Gaga hinted that her eagerly awaited seventh studio album is on the horizon, with the words “XX October: LG7 first single” appearing at the bottom of the image.
This announcement follows a series of hints the pop icon has been dropping about her new album.
At the conclusion of her concert film Gaga Chromatica Ball, she first teased the album by flashing the words “LG7 GAGA RETURNS” on the screen.
Then, after her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Gaga took a moment to connect with fans outside her hotel, where she played them brief snippets of two new tracks from the upcoming project.
Fans got an early taste of her new music with “Die With a Smile,” a romantic collaboration with Bruno Mars.
The song debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated August 31, becoming Gaga’s highest-charting single since her 2020 collaboration with Ariana Grande, “Rain on Me,” which reached No. 1.
