Noah Hawley’s FX series Alien: Earth has unveiled its logline and released a teaser trailer (above) that was previously shown to a select audience who viewed Alien: Romulus.
The brief clip features an enraged and wild Xenomorph with dark, sharp teeth and lips that appear to be either dripping with drool or possibly blood.
The true nature of the substance will be revealed when the series premieres on Hulu in 2025. One thing is certain: the Xenomorph is definitely hungry.
The plot centers on a mysterious space vessel that crashes on Earth, leading a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a diverse group of tactical soldiers to a crucial discovery that brings them face-to-face with the planet’s most formidable threat.
In addition to Chandler, the cast includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El.
FX head John Landgraf has described the series as a “big imaginative reimagining” of the Alien franchise and has likened it to Hawley’s previous work on the FX hit Fargo.
He also confirmed that the series is intended to be an ongoing project.
