Matt Damon’s home feels a bit different now that his daughter Isabella has left for college.
The 53-year-old Air star spoke at Stella Artois’ Let’s Do Dinner event, sharing how his family dynamics have shifted since 18-year-old Isabella headed off to school. Damon and his wife, Luciana, share four daughters: Alexia, 26, Isabella, Gia, 16, and Stella, 13.
“We have a 26-year-old, so we’ve been through this before, but it’s still a big adjustment for us and her sisters,” Damon said about Isabella going off to college.
“The house definitely feels different with one less person there. It’s a significant change.”
Damon previously opened up in August about how fast his children are growing up.
In a joint interview with his The Instigators co-star Casey Affleck, Damon was asked if they ever exchanged parenting advice, given that both are raising teenagers.
“I don’t think we give each other a lot of advice, but we definitely talk about it,” Damon explained.
“Mostly, we just marvel at how fast time flies. Suddenly, your kid is off to college, and it’s all happening at a blistering pace.”
In March, Damon and his wife Luciana attended the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, where they were seen arriving together, looking glamorous as always.
In July, Damon also walked the red carpet with his entire family at the New York premiere of The Instigators. The proud father posed for photos alongside his wife and all four of their daughters, smiling as a family.
At the event, Damon told that Luciana had played a key role in his decision to join the upcoming comedic thriller, The Instigators.
“She actually produced this one,” Damon said of his wife’s involvement. “She was very hands-on with this project, but I trust her completely.”
