Mckenna Grace is officially joining the cast of Scream 7 from Spyglass Media Group and Paramount. She will appear alongside Neve Campbell, who is set to reprise her iconic role in the franchise, as well as new cast members Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, and Asa Germann.
The original Scream creator Kevin Williamson is taking the director’s chair for Scream 7, with Guy Busick on writing duties. The film is being produced by James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, and Paul Neinstein of Project X Entertainment. Scream 7 is currently scheduled to hit worldwide theaters on February 27, 2026.
Although a logline for the upcoming slasher film has yet to be revealed, it remains unclear what role Grace will take on.
This announcement follows Scream VI, which achieved a franchise record with a domestic gross of over $108 million in March 2023. Across all its entries, the Scream series has now amassed more than $900 million globally at the box office.
Grace will next be seen starring in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You opposite Allison Williams. Directed by Josh Boone, this film promises to expand Grace’s impressive resume.
The actress is also known for her roles in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire, and Gifted. Grace is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360, and attorney Stewart Brookman.
