Speculations swirling around ADOR’s expected announcement concerning the management dispute with Hive were put to rest as the label labeled such reports as “completely unfounded.”
In a statement on April 24 KST, ADOR clarified, stating,
“Reports suggesting an official position would be revealed today are entirely baseless,” and emphasized, “Such plans were never on the agenda.”
The label further asserted,
“Our primary focus remains on the upcoming comeback of NewJeans.”
Earlier, on April 22, HYBE dispatched an audit questionnaire to ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin and the current management team.
This questionnaire reportedly delved into allegations of internal information leaks, alleged plots to usurp management rights, and suspected irregularities in external consultations and personnel recruitment.
With the response deadline set for April 24 at 6 PM KST, considerable attention was directed towards ADOR’s executives, particularly CEO Min, to see if they would issue a response and, if so, the nature of the response.
HYBE had instructed CEO Min and others to return the company’s information assets, including laptops, by April 23 6 PM KST for the audit process, yet CEO Min failed to comply.
In the midst of these developments, NewJeans is gearing up for a comeback with a new double single slated for release on May 24.
Reports suggest that the music video for the pre-released track is scheduled to debut on April 27 KST.
