Beyblade X Releases Outside Asia in 2024
ADK Emotions NY Inc. and Tomy Company, Ltd. subsidiary T-Licensing Inc. have exciting plans for the Beyblade X anime project. They recently announced that this thrilling series will not only air in Asia but also receive a “broadcast” release worldwide in 2024.
This strategic move comes as they showcase the Beyblade franchise at the New York Toy Fair 2023, where they actively work on creating a global licensing program for the brand.
Their ambitions extend beyond toys, consisting of a wide range of non-toy licensing categories, including apparel, back-to-school, party goods, food/snacks, publishing, QSR, collectibles, gaming, and apps.
Japanese viewers can anticipate the Beyblade X anime premiering on TV Tokyo and its affiliated networks starting October 6.
The Staff for the BeyBlade X Anime
Katsuhito Akiyama is the chief director. Overseeing the creative vision is Sotsu Terada, known for his work on Beyblade Burst Turbo and Beyblade Burst GT, who directs the series at OLM. Hikaru Muno contributes to the original series concept and scenario assistance, while Kazuho Hyodo, recognized for works like ReLIFE and TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, writes series scripts.
The original character designs are the work of Posuka Demizu, known for The Promised Neverland, with Yoshihiro Nagamori, known for his involvement in the previous Beyblade series, adapting these designs for animation.
In March, Takara Tomy unveiled the Beyblade X project, marking it as the “4th generation” in the Beyblade series, following the original 1999 Beyblade, Beyblade: Metal Fusion from 2008, and Beyblade Burst in 2015.
This exciting project gave birth to the Beyblade X manga, which debuted on June 15 in Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine. Created by Homura Kawamoto, Hikaru Muno, and Posuka Demizu, the story follows a young boy aspiring to become a professional Beyblade player, with his ultimate goal being the prestigious X Tower, where top players converge.
Expect fresh gears and abilities to enhance the Beyblade battles in this new adventure.
Meanwhile, the seventh season of the Beyblade Burst anime, titled Beyblade Burst QuadStrike, made its debut on April 3 on Disney XD and later on Hulu in the U.S., featuring 26 episodes of thrilling Beyblade action. You can also catch episodes on YouTube as they follow the U.S. releases and on various regional broadcast partners.
