The 43-year-old chiropractor filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Sunday, citing “irreconcilable differences,” as PEOPLE was able to obtain from court documents.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Abasolo shared his difficult decision to separate from Rachel after more than four years of marriage. In his statement, he emphasized the need to love oneself and make difficult choices that are good for both partners.
