The official trailer for Captain America: Brave New World has finally arrived.
This latest action-packed preview offers a look into Anthony Mackie’s debut as the new Captain America, first shown to fans at D23 Brazil in São Paulo on Saturday, where Mackie and Danny Ramirez, who plays Falcon, made an appearance to greet the audience.
The trailer provides a powerful look at Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America as he navigates a complex relationship with Harrison Ford’s President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.
When America faces a terrorist threat, President Ross tries to use Captain America to his advantage, leading to a clash between the two over their differing approaches.
The tension escalates as Mackie’s Captain America uncovers a sinister conspiracy against the country and is subsequently arrested. “Someone’s been pulling the strings on everything,” Mackie’s character declares, revealing the depth of the threat.
The trailer reaches its peak as Ford’s character, now transformed into the Red Hulk, squares off against Captain America in a fiery showdown, initiated by Mackie’s fierce challenge: “You want me? Come and get me!”
A teaser for Captain America: Brave New World was released in July, showcasing the intense dynamic between Mackie’s Captain America and Ford’s President Ross, who reprises the Hulk-hunting general role previously portrayed by the late William Hurt.
Alongside returning MCU favorites like Carl Lumbly’s Isaiah Bradley and Tim Blake Nelson’s Samuel Sterns, the teaser also introduces Giancarlo Esposito in a villainous role and Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres as the new Falcon.
Viewers also catch a brief but striking shot of Red Hulk, Ford’s powerful alter-ego, casually hurling Captain America’s adamantium shield with ease.
Directed by Julius Onah, Captain America: Brave New World is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
