Pop musician Christina Aguilera has expressed her opinions regarding Britney Spears’ controversial autobiography, “The Woman In Me.”
During a recent interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the singer famed for “Genie In A Bottle” took time to answer questions and talk about “The Woman In Me” even as she got ready for her forthcoming Las Vegas residency.
Britney Spears, who recently concluded her extremely contentious custody, is going to publish a memoir in which she will share her firsthand account of events. “It is finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out, and my fans deserve to hear it directly from me,” she said, expressing her willingness to speak up. “I take control of my past, present, and future. No more lies or conspiracies.”
Christina Aguilera opens up about the memoir.
The “Hurt” singer appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday night to discuss her music and her impending Las Vegas residency. The “Beautiful” singer was asked if Britney had ever gotten in touch to talk about her memoir during the interview. Her response was confused.
It appears that they have become more distant over time, despite the fact that they were both members of “The Mickey Mouse Club” in their formative years and have both received Grammy awards. She mentioned that everything was going fantastically and wished that Britney was doing well. She also emphasized the significance of looking forward to the future.
However, Jimmy Kimmel, the host, didn’t let her off the hook and asked If she had to choose between being part of it or not. What would she choose? Christina was taken aback. “I would prefer to be in it,” Jimmy said, to which Christina replied jokingly that maybe he would be in it and she would rather have him than herself.
Britney’s controversial 13-year conservatorship
The much-discussed 13-year conservatorship of Britney started in February 2008 and ended in November 2021 when a judge ended it. Following the official termination of her conservatorship in the same month, Britney shared a video clip of the “Candyman” singer on her Instagram Stories.
In response to the question of whether Christina had any contact with Britney throughout the conservatorship, Christina said, “I can’t, but I’m glad for her.”
Britney posted that video footage on her Instagram Story, according to ET. She wrote in her article that staying silent when you know the truth is the same as lying, and she thanked everyone who stood by her.
She underlined that she was the one who went through it and addressed the difficulties people had talking about her 13-year ordeal inside a dishonest and abusive system. Britney emphasized her significance in the entire scenario and thanked her followers for speaking up on her behalf.
Paris Hilton pours her thoughts on ‘The Woman In Me’
Britney Spears’s longtime friend Paris Hilton has also shared her thoughts on her biography, “The Woman In Me.” During the promotion of her latest kitchen and home collection, “Be An Icon,” in collaboration with Wal-Mart, the “Stars Are Blind” singer discussed Britney’s book with People magazine.
Paris stated that she was incredibly proud of Britney for having the guts to “tell her story,” particularly in light of the experiences she had, which were documented in her single “Overprotected.”
Paris understands the challenges of writing a memoir because it requires revisiting experiences in the past that may be emotionally taxing. She does, however, think that the procedure can be actually therapeutic.
Using her own book-writing experience as a starting point, she discussed the various ways in which writing has profoundly impacted her life. Paris sincerely hoped that Britney would find healing from the memoir-writing process as well. She expressed her profound respect for Britney’s feminine strength beyond anything else.
